Pawor Seed Secondary School is a government-aided mixed day school serving the Pawor community and the wider Madi-Okollo area through accessible O-Level secondary education.
Pawor Seed Secondary School forms part of Uganda's public secondary education system. Its role is to make secondary education more accessible to learners who would otherwise have to travel farther from their communities to continue their studies.
The school serves boys and girls in a day-school setting and provides the structure, guidance and academic foundation needed for learners to progress through Ordinary Level and prepare for their next step in education, training or working life.
Government records show that the school was developed during the 2018–2019 period as part of efforts to expand access to secondary education in Madi-Okollo.
Pawor and surrounding communities needed a closer public secondary school option for learners completing primary education.
The school was constructed through the Ministry of Education and Sports as part of the national seed secondary school programme.
Today, the school continues its purpose of widening access to affordable public secondary education for local families.
Our work is centred on learning, responsibility, personal growth and meaningful participation in school and community life.
